Default Seiko 7T92-OCFO (Blue Faced Flight Watch) not working after battery Replacment

Hi All
I have the above watch and it needed a new battery. I put one in and the watch went OK for about 3-6 months then stopped.
I bought another battery, put it into the watch, but nothing :'(
It isn't running at all. I tried another battery, still the same problem. The stopwatch, second hands don't move and if I leave it for a few minutes, the main hands haven't moved.
I take great care when replacing the batteries.. I made sure all contacts are touching the battery. Nothing looks "out of place".
Could I have broken something, or is this a known problem with these types of Seiko's?
Any help greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Rob

Is there a little shorting step that's required? I had 2 watches recently where you have to do this. Forgive me if I'm wrong about this.

Thanks for the reply.
I did find the contact (it isn't marked AC), and I tried the reset as described (touch the contact to the + battery). The seconds had moved a few seconds then it all stopped again.
After taking the battery in and out a few times, I did get the seconds to tick for about 5 seconds, but I touched the battery and it stopped...
So, it looks like maybe the terminals aren't right (although they look OK). I don't have anything that can magnify them enough, so I might have to take it to my watch repairer.

Try cleaning the battery contacts. They may look clean, but sometimes an invisible film of oxidation builds up that prevents proper current flow.

Reporting back... It seems there is some corrosion on the battery strips that have eaten through the circuit tracks and it isn't worth repairing compared to the cost of the watch.
Thanks to all that replied.
