Remanufacturing straps, advanced work on straps, possible?
I wonder if there are people out there who are capable of doing complex works on straps or remanufacture links?
I have a Lassale watch (pic below) which is an ex-demo/sample watch. All links were crimped, so there is no pin to remove links and adjust the length to my wrist (I need one single link removed). Unfortunately, the original strap and links are no longer available from the official Seiko channels.
I have shown this watch to many jewellers/watch repairers, but nobody wants to take this job on. So perhaps I have been barking at the wrong tree and I need to send this to a specialist dealing with straps, or a jeweler who wil be able to drill holes where there are none at present to install pins.
Many thanks for the pointers you can give me.
