Default Junk shop in town for secondhand watches

I have lived in my little town for 50 years and did not think we had a junk shop, apart from the usual charity shops selling smelly coats etc. ;D

However while on the way to the bank i looked into a shop window and they were selling toot, old silver, watches, etc. I spotted an Omega and a few vintage Seiko's so went in anf asked for their best prices . The owner said they had the business for a couple of years and he is an old watch enthusiast too. He has quite a turnover so I will pop in every week from now on.

I did spot one Seiko I liked a 66-9990 in mint condition so stumped up the dosh and walked away with it, paying a little more than I would usually but it really is nice.

The guy said he gets in loads of funky stuff...so lets keep 'em crossed.

If you can view the watch in person and pay EBAY prices for it is worth it for the peace of mind of getting what you are paying for.
I didn't find any awesome watches at pawn shops in MS when I was down there like Mark found (as listed above)
But as soon as I finally move there I will be hitting up as many as I can find on my random motorcycle trips.
By the way, what type of old silver did they have and what were they selling it for?
If you know what to look for you can score the same watch lot deals as you can from coin lots from unsuspecting sellers selling antiques.

Wow that's incredible. There's a guy here that has a bit of Seikos that he gets from auctions.. he gave me the auction info but haven't gone. I keep checking to see if he has anything, but nothing yet.
