Default What is your most uncommon/unusual/'rarest' Citizen in your collection ?

I had to ask this after the similar Seiko post :P

In my case it is probably my modded Exceed minute repeater 6760, but as a caliber the Avalon 6720 wold-time might be more uncommon ...

Thank you Thian !

Both JDM ... generally I believe that both Exceed and Avalon were JDM marketing/brand experiments from Citizen, but Exceed seems to be now 'here to stay' while the last Avalon was more than 15 years ago ... very good starting point for Citizen history is of course http://citizen.jp/discovery/model/age/index.html (URL with Google translation is http://translate.google.com/translat...ml&sl=ja&tl=en ) and on that page there are also links sorted after collections and so on ...

As you still can find them in the bay, they might not be rare, but I might call my two Thermos at least unusual:

My ATV53-2832 LE would qualify, I guess.

I posted about it in the old forum : http://www.larrybiggs.net/scwf/index...&id=1185138423

Hi Jason, the Crystron diver has a 8620A in, hasn't it?

I once traded this nice Cryston:

for that one:

with a guy, that needed the movement to restore one of those divers:

Certainly not as rare as some of the other watches in this thread, but still, I only see about three or four per year come up for sale.

A 100m Citizen water resistant watch made for 'Spalding' .. seldom seen but have heard of it in the old SCWF threads.
It has a 11 o clock crown and that makes it special. It also has a signed crown, smooth turning bezel, bright lume!

Inside look: It has a 1 Jewel movement 3800A

Bulova issued a similar model using the same Citizen movement in the 90s in their Millenia Grand Complication model:

If you mean from caliber 6760 - this one below was actually the first:

http://citizen.jp/discovery/model/19...uperalarm.html

The caliber was also used (only) in limited editions from a number of other companies (other than Bulova which is today owned by Citizen most notably being Shellman, also Invicta and I believe Jaques Lemans, but still the manufacturer of the caliber in all cases was Citizen/Miyota) and a slight variation is used in the current Campanola Minute Repeater - that being the reason why I said that 6720 is a less common caliber :P

Pete's Logmaster is a real gem. I guess this red 'proof' version of the compressor diver is a rare one:

^-^ Given to me by a friend, history unknown needs a new battery soon, but not sure how to get at it, it does not appear to be a way in at the back, but there is two slots by the glass retaining ring
