Default What is the (gulp) rarest Seiko in your collection ?

Not necessarily your favourite or most expensive but the one you consider the rarest (gulp i said it again)

My Business Belle was always a grail to me and thanks to JohnN one came to me, must admit never thought i would own one.

I would guess this one:

5106-8010 Seikomatic-P

I am not sure how rare these are, but this particular one was difficult to find.

Cheers,
Andrew

I have a 7018-5001 "Monaco," which is much rarer that the similarly cased 7016. Can't get any snaps because it's in the shop. It looks like the one in the link below, except mine's got a white dial with a black sub-dial:

My most rarely seen one is a more modern 6M23 I have only seen one other of these.

Vintage would have to be this one.....

My rarest would be this it's a one of a kind

Not rare, but seldom bought or seen anymore....this Seiko Alba Hypertech resin bezel model....45mm width, emergency codes on the dial....
found this in my box with broken strap, so I stuck a 18mm leather on it for fun .....and now it joins the Adventure watch group ha

Hmm, what is rare? If based on what I have sen or general availability, the JDM only 7019 sports divers I own are probably closest to fitting the bill.

This one isn't mine, I don't have pictures of it yet (this would be the only other one I have seen..).... this is a 1969 7019-8020. Very unusual case design..

Or possibly my other 7019 , a 7019-6030..

This one is of mine..

Again, not knowing or ever able to know actual production numbers, maybe my rarest is my 6217-8000? (Sorry, no pics of it yet..._)

I only own an SKX007 and a Monster, so I'm certainly not qualified for this thread.

Still though, this makes for an interesting read. It's nice to see what's out there. ;D

It is probably this high-accuracy King Quartz (twinquartz) - my oldest (1978) thermo-compensated watch and also my oldest watch with anti-glare crystal !!!

I guess, I can hardly judge how rare a model is. If I take the bay as an measurement, those ones don't show up too often:

a 8M35-8000...

...and this 8223-7170 with it's special emblem.

But as said, I have no idea of the actual production numbers, so it's just a guess based on looking through the bay quite often.

Cheers,

Axel

Well not exactly rare, but fairly uncommon Seikos. Here is the 6109-8009:

This 6309 dress watch (pic before it was relumed):

and this 6106 which while not exactly rare is virtually impossible to find in this kind of condition:

That would be my Yellow Soxa:

- It's a colour I never thought I'd actually wear (rest is black-dialed)
- It's my first watch I bought on this forum
- It's my first 6309 mod

While not quite a Seiko, my Black Manta LE is from an edition of 400. I guess that would make it rare.

SWEET! I really, really appreciate the real deal! Those fake scubapro dials out there just turn my stomach.
...and of course the props to Bruce Lee!

Not rare, but "rarest" of my collection.

Whilst not officially 'endangered', you don't see too many of these around:
