Default 3rd Annual Fundraiser Event

Well, it's that time of the year again... time for the annual fundraiser!

Most of you remember our first and second fundraisers, but for those of you who are new members, this is an opportunity to share with those in need..and a chance to spread Goodwill throughout the forum and set the focus for the year.

In the first two fundraising events, we set the goal of raising $2000 and we met the goal both times.. Thanks SCWF!

This year, we'll try to reach that same level and perhaps even exceed it!

So, for those of you who haven't participated in the past, here's what the fundraiser is all about..

A member or members are selected as beneficiaries, funds are raised for approx six weeks and then transferred directly to the beneficiaries.. simple as that.

Beneficiaries names will not be mentioned publicly in this thread, but instead are made known to those who wish to donate through private message or email... that way, it's a complete surprise when the funds are transferred.

For more information on this year's beneficiary, send me a private message or you can email me directly at

poolspecter at g mail dot com

Let's all join in this year and see how high we can get in this year's fund!

Thanks to all who have donated in the past years and thanks in advance to all who will donate in this year's... let's make this the best year ever!

Best, as always,

Mike

Hi everyone, just wanted to give you all a quick update on the fundraiser...

Firstly, I want to thank all of you who have donated to this year's event... also, thanks to ReyG, who has donated his time to help organize and for being this year's fund administrator... really couldn't do this without you Rey..so a big thank you!

As of today, we are still a fair bit away from reaching our goal, but the donation phase will remain open for another three weeks before we transfer the funds to this year's beneficiary.

Many of you have donated in years past and this year as well, but for some of you, it may be the first time you've heard of the fundraiser...still plenty of time left to contact me for the details and help out with this year's event.

I can't tell you how many people have reached out to me the last couple years... after the fundraiser has ended, and said they wished they could have donated...now is your chance.

Thanks again to all those who have donated and have supported the event!

For more details on this year's beneficiary, send me a private message or email me directly poolspecter at g mail dot com

Best, as always,

Mike
