Seiko 5 .. SNK381K

SOG-alike, just a really easy watch on the eye.

I will too.
I've had it for about three years - sitting in the safe.
There is another one in rougher condition (looks to be a good dial) for sale here so I may buy that and refurbish it too.

Probably this pair - the first Seiko I ever had (bought as a gift by my first wife), and a gorgeous GS SBGT241.

The old fella has been through deserts, tropical cyclones and all manner of abuse over more than 40 years. The GS is the 25th anniversary of the 9F - accurate to +/- 5 sec/year. And it looks even better in the metal - photos never do justice to Grand Seiko watches.

Totally understandable to keep these two in the fold. Excellent choice.

My favourite Seiko is my old 7T32 chronograph. I bought this when I was in my early 20's and had to save up for what seemed like forever as it cost well over a months wages for me then.
I've sold on a lot of my Seiko's in the last few years and am now down to only 5 in my collection of about 60 watches. If I had to sell them all this is the one that would be last to go.

That one, 6138-0030 Kakume...
Why,because i had it in poor state,it took me barely a year to collect lot of new movement parts, but mainly because it's from November 1975..like me.

Mine would have to be my 6309-7040. Iíve taken it on every holiday since 1977. Iíve lost count of how many straps and bracelets itís had.

Probably my favourite Seiko. Definitely the one I wear the most and one I don't think I'd ever sell. It was the first "proper" watch I bought. The one that started my whole love affair with affordable Japanese timepieces.

Bought secondhand off eBay in 2008. I can still remember opening the box and going "WOW". I couldn't believe you could get so much watch for so little money ( You could get Monsters for little money in 2008 ). I added the Watchadoo and Seiko clasp from a Sawtooth fairly shortly after and it's been the closest thing I have to a daily wearer. It fell by the wayside for a while during the summer there as it's power reserve faded noticeably and the accuracy left a lot to be desired ( 7s26b anybody ? ) but a recent upgrade to NH36 has it back on my wrist again.

I'm sure you guys are probably fed up of seeing it by now though.....

Nice Orange dial... wondering 2 things, 1) what are those other two in your collection looks like a nice blue dial 2) looks like you have a bookshelf speakers n floor speakers... u audiophile ? Are this DIY speakers? I bet they sound fantastic.

That's a very nice looking 6309.

Put mine on yesterday after a month in the watch box and it felt like putting on an old pair of jeans.

The SLA017 IMO could be the only watch you own and it would be enough.
