Ive repaired them where the springs have been bent, so yes the springs. And Im talking on watches that were owned from new.

One guy was knocked off his bike though but on each Ive had to straighten a kink out of the hair spring. Not sure if the regulator moves quickly and snags the spring or the spring bends against it from a shock but Ive seen it (and repaired it with my own eyes/hands)

I think we misunderstood
The spring is in the drum and drives the watch, what you are talking about is balance hair, or hairspring.
It's precision mechanics, so you have to write precisely

Precision patronising

I was referred to the balance and said the spring can get damage from a knock. Surely would have been a more obvious thought than the main spring being damaged from a knock especially when you posted a pic of the balance assembly.

I showed the balance photo later, but ok, it's important that we understand each other

BTW
In my opinion, a bigger problem during a shock is damage to the balance axis ...Or the curvature of the anchor

ok ok bowing to popular demand I will give a accuracy check, I zeroed it on 01 01 2020 so 16 days ago and in that period it has gained in total one second to repeat a gain of one second in 16 days, unreal but thats what its done, my pattern of wear or what ever must suit it ideally.

that looks a lot better for me

but cost - I think would be 200 to 300

I find some on the modern Seiko "designs" not that pleasing

SBDX001 hands are these part numbers:.

Hour Hand: 1FA082YABES
Minute Hand: 2FA115YCBES
Seconds Hand: 3AX125FGAES

Figure $125 USD for all 3 is about right, which is half or less than you outlined. I do see them higher by a lot on eBay now but not selling
