It has a very cool dial, can you see the shark fin on it?

I sure do find it a very compelling watch. Textured dial and grooved bezel insert with engraved timing markers.

Sometimes I just stop and stare at it.

Here he is at 8 o'clock. Tail fin theme continued on the short end of the sweep second hand, too.

I have this watch, and had never noticed the detail on the bezel. Thanks!

I assume the chunks missing from the sub-dials are baby shark bites.

Love the chunks missing from the 60 second sub dial hand and the seconds hand on the time only model.
Lots of things to like about this one.

The chronometer gives way to some other aquatic fishy at 8 o'clock instead of the shark on the first dial. Seems like some division head said, "ok people give me an aquatic dial observant people will talk about, and make it pretty" ! Personally, I think I remember this dial grabbing out attention around 4-6 months ago. It is lovely for sure !

Are the Solars generally considered quartz mvm’t or something else?

Quartz movement with a piggy-back solar cell.

Little update on this watch, I was looking for a ceramic bezel insert, so I took the bezel off, it was very easy and not hard at all, at 09.00 o'clock I inserted the bergeon knife, slowly in and a small twist about 15° angle, and it came out very easy, I measured the inside diameter and the reading was 32.20mm the outside seems to be 42mm, I put back in as easy as it went out.
So I sent an email to yobokies, to see if he has it or does exist, fingers crossed.
