Default Seiko 6105-8000 Proof/Proof... Does this look right?

So... I was bidding on a blue pogue on the bay and decided to check the sellers other listings and saw he also had a 6105-8000 ending fast. I ended up losing the blue pogue, but won the 6105-8000! It looks sharp and it has nice lines, but maybe a bit more aging on the lume than I would like but I decided to go in without much research. It's been a few years since I looked at this model so I'm not sure what to look for.

Can anyone tell me if this looks right? The sellers pics are kind of grainy but I'm hoping I did okay at the very least, and hopefully it's not franken!

Thanks in advance.

Looks okay to me. Here are a couple of photos of my 6105-8009 Resist/Resist for comparison.

Looks legit. Long second hand looks correct. Should probably be a 6105A movement — can’t tell from the picture. I was thinking about throwing a bid at that one myself as I don’t have a proof/proof 6105.

FWIW, Seiko apparently started the transition from “proof” to “resist” in 1970; my 6105-8000 is from June 1970 and has a “resist” dial, “proof” back, and 6105B (hacking) movement.

Yeah, but mine is merely very nice (thanks again to Guy J), while yours is friggin’ spectacular!

It is a rare combination, and one I have only seen so far on June 1970 watches. Mine is #6374.

Wow that's beautiful! Do you think the lume on mine can clean up that nicely? Hopefully the corrosion is minimal an the metal of the markers.

BTW what bracelet is that?

I just offered them $50. Maybe if they get enough offers of $50, they will start to sense a theme ...

The Seiko #s on the End links are #B323 I do think your Indices will clean up Very Good My Reasons for saying this is the Indices appear not to be Scratched up in my experience the Reluming can make Nightmares Look Great as long as the Indices Frames are Not Trashed. Even if you chose not To Relume but had One of the Very Able members that do reluming Just Clean the Edges but if that work is going to be done INHO a Nice light Reluming could be beautiful.
Your Case is Very Nice-Strong OEM Lines and the Hands also Look good and Last a Beautiful Bezel. I think your 6105-8009 Resist/Resist Will be a Sought after Model in time Even though many of us prefer Proof the 6105-8009 Resist will be Collectible imo due to a Small amount made compared to Proof/Proof 8000s. She can be Beautiful because she's all there to start with imho. Russell
