Thanks Mike, glad you like it. It's kinda got that mid-century modern vibe to it, eh? Would be something nice to wear whilst listening to some relaxing music through that fantastic mono amp of yours

Default Gold Turtle

Hey Neilo,
Today was a gold turtle day.
Put it on last night and it stayed on-wrist.

I like your thinking .... I think I've said this before but it has a 60s Omega/Pie Pan dial feel to it. They just really nailed it.

Quite the rare combo Pippy. Textured DX dial, day w/number, day window at 9, logo at 9, very cool!

It is a rather nice watch Mike. It works very well with a dress shirt, it's pretty thin. I think they're under rated too. I'd put it up against a Movado that costs twice as much. Believe it or not it was a gift from a former employer for 5 years of service. You should see the crap they give out now.

Talking Better late than never ....

This arrived yesterday - one of my few remaining outstanding 7A38 grails - the Fred Force 10. Subtle it ain't.

Thanks, and if it was an Omega or Rolex I could claim the dial is slowly becoming tropical and add loads of money to what it’s worth!

Thanks, Pip. It certainly is in the bright light of day. It was overcast (between showers) when I took that shot. Blingy ain't the word.

The window on the right is date, the window on the left is day. Day is both abbreviated and numbered 1 to 7. Don’t know why, that’s just Seiko for you!

Guess they just tried different formats. The day is full in this example from '65.
