Wrist Wise Today My Thoughts Were “Negative” So I thought I Would Scratch The Itch With One Of My G Shocks👍

So I’m Going Casio G Shock “Negative” Dial

Slick one Neilo, hope you paired that with a sinister outfit... maybe a black leather jacket, or a bat suit!

For me, day two of my honeymoon with the new M158-5009 Pan Am from '78, on the grass and together with a gold A939-5010 from the dead digi pile I was able to rescue today. Dang thing has a completely flush snap case back with no edges you can pry under, but I managed to get it off nevertheless. That's 3 saves in 3 days for me!

Still undecided about negative display lcds, so I get the irony of continuing my "orange " week with this aqualand in drag..

G-Shocks are great for humpdays Neilo... Especially the 7900 models which used to be the best G-Shock line-up all things considered (especially price wise) in my opinion before the GD-350 came into the scene.

For me it's turtle day, it's been a long time since I last wore this modded SRP775, now that I have discovered the wonderful world that is dive watches on leather straps, it's starting to hog wrist time again! Not sure what this kind of leather is called, I got it with a bunch of other straps in a trade with a marching rucksack I no longer use. It's one of those thicker, matte finished leather types that are easily scratched thus adding to the vintage look.

So far only replaced the bezel with a coin edge version and the crystal with a double domed one that has a blue AR coating underneath - thinking of also replacing the insert with a ceramic one since the one I have on my Urchin looks incredible! I'm a fan of mods that don't stray too far from the original Seiko designs, although I've also seen some cool wild creations out there.

Thanks Brad Sir,Must admit I don’t have many Negative Dial G Shocks in my Collection as I find them Cool Looking But Hard to Read.( For Older Eyes )

I do however love your Pan Am LCD and it’s certainly a Classic👍⌚️

Good day Neilo and all - another set of stunners I see! Today, I have a J13043 Alpinist on the wrist. You can see the state of receipt and what this lovely piece has become once again. A buy for $135 or so then tracking down a crown, crystal, a few internal parts and a service weren’t too bad or expensive. Nice to get one back on the road!
