A few years ago, forum member "Montechristono" produced the best looking stainless steel DLC coated Arnie shroud replacements I have seen so far.

Not sure if he still does, or even if he's is still a member.

Regards

As above - I’m sure he’s still a member
I have one on mine from the US- it’s a good fit etc but slightly shiny- looks good though
I think it was from Seiko-shrouds
The shapeways ones are ok fit wise but the 3d print is very rough

There used to be a seller on Ebay with seller ID armsaver. He also sold armrests for cars I believe he was one of the first to reproduce and offer a plastic Arnie H558 shroud. Over the years I bought and used 3 of his Arnie Shrouds. Good Quality - Good Fit - Not sure if he is still around and making them any longer

I just checked and armsaver has changed his ebay used id to seiko-shrouds. Probably a wise decision IMO a much better name than armsaver

My experience with this seller's Arnie Shrouds has been Good Quality and Good Fit.

These have been a spot on repro. I've used many and they are top quality.

He is still around but I am pretty sure he no longer offers the DLC stainless shroud. When I bought mine last year he told me it was the last one and I’ve read elsewhere that he no longer offers them

Looks nice. It's a pitty they are no longer available. Do they add much weight to the watch?

i've also used the shrouds that mike suggested. the important thing to note about these is that they have the small lip on the underside of the shroud that snaps in place while many of the others, including the metal ones for obvious reasons, do not have.

Bought the Shapeways H558 3D printed shroud from Montecristono1 a few years back. Shroud had a very good fit, and profile was almost a 1:1 copy of the original, but the finish was a bit rough.

So, I decided to sand down the rough surface to the desired smoothness, and had the shroud painted by my watchmaker using a high grade (scratch resistant) automotive paint.

I was happy with the outcome and the total cost:

Edit: Pictures now show my Arnie with bezel insert retouched with Birchwood Casey Aluminum Black

Good evening all, apologies for anyone trying to reach me.
The Stainless Steel Shrouds are all sold. Thank you to those who purchased.
I am not to sure if they will be made again.
3D printed shrouds using same CAD design as Steel versions via company Shapeways still available.
Apologies I can not control their print technology.
Apologies if I have not been on the forum more frequently.
Hope all are well take care Wayne
