Default Did Seiko make models in batches?

For example, I dont think I have ever seen a 6105 from September 1968, but of the half dozen or so I had collected all were from May.

Yes that's exactly how it goes.

Some references were made about every month, most models were only made in certain months. Or 'batches' as you say.

Whether the 6105 diver was made in a particular month or not I don't know but I would totally expect an analysis would show some months yes and other months no.

Well to be picky (and I will apologise now), I think that there is a distinction between "made" and "stamped". There appear to be batches of each. For example, a particular model may have been "made" in a particular month, but the serial number and year/month code may have been stamped in separate batches over one or more months - and not necessarily in the same month as manufacture. I did apologise.
