Hereís a good review from Long Island Watches, which shows the dancing hands and other features:

The is an LCD light, and the PADI version has blue and green lume. Apparently the pushers cannot be used while diving, as they screw down.

Looks super cool. I may have to get one sooner than later. Iím partial to the PADI version, but I never owned the original.

I would bet that theyíre going to sell a ton and that an orange or other versions will be forthcoming.

Iím hoping itís bigger than the H558 Original so thereís a bit of heft to it.

No deals on them at the minute I can find and £420 seems the UK set price?

Maybe buying overseas may bring a better price.

I looked forward to itís release and just hope itís as good as it looks.

Nice to see you Sir

I really like these, in fact I’d go as far to say they’re the best looking reissue Seiko has done in recent years.

I actually like the pushers and now when I look at the original Arnie (which I do love) it looks like the pushers have fallen off!

Itís really bad ass; 200m water resistant screw in crown and pushers !? Plus the other features retro and modern, the synchronization of hands is cool.
I would agree on maybe best reissue ever! Not in sense of the most identical to original but an honorable upgrade. Definitely rewarding for a lot of Seiko wisís, when something gets done right.

anyone getting the seiko exclusive online pvd'd (basically, black pushers and screwdowns) version? i can't make up my mind! it really shouldn't be a big deal since this will be the beater, work on the car and paint the house watch...lol.

<* shark >><

ps - dang,i had the pvd'd version in my cart, but it "sold out" while i was looking around; so, if you want that one, get it fast..lol.

Hi Larry sorry for late reply.
A $78 dollar discount is available during the checkout process, it’ll come up, heck I was ready to pay the listed price. I bet you get additional discounts if you sign up to receive offers.

rey,

YES, you're right. I had to go to my cart and add the extra 15% off. ok, i will wait one day and see if the online seiko version (basically gold) becomes available again.

Gold one is very cool. Wonder what color indicator is on the black pushers.

I could have gone either way between that and the classic black and silver color scheme. Would have been difficult even if the gold one had also been available.
Same as with the solar tunas, like both color schemes.

Tell us about the rubber strap please.

Photos on other web sites show a metal keeper. Love the rectangular vents.

Is is comfortable ?

Ordered mine (a pepsi) a couple days ago. It's due to arrive tomorrow. I'm really quite excited about this -- more than just about any other recent Seiko. The only thing that I know I'm going to hate is the rubber strap... I just can't stand rubber straps -- even the new Seiko ones that are more pliable. I'm just a bracelet person, I guess. So, once I get it I'll have to spend a bit of time at strapcode and find something that fits the appearance... 'cause usually I can't stand Seiko bracelets. (-=sigh=-)
Anyone here have some thoughts about bracelet choices?
