Well, besides the small issues the seller states (and the possibility of it being relumed in the past, if you care for that sort of thing), and despite not being experienced enough in these models to say much in the way of authenticity/originality, I think it looks pretty nice! Good luck with buy

the seller is not corresponding.
I had an issue with the PayPal money request and couldn't send the money through.

so it may be a scam, I don't know.
ask for his number and PayPal account & I gave mine but got no reply.😣

I think my quest continues, not my time yet!

I'm just surprised, as I don't know how many western Australia or Australian members on here.

Why are you jumping into SCAM territory just yet?

There are plenty legitimate reasons for a slight delay in communications, paypal issues etc... especially since the seller seems to have only but positive feedback.

Hope you manage to sort it out!

Also, Im not even remotely close to Australia, but the 'bay works worldwide and that ad was from the UK.

if a 6105-811x is your grail watch, i'd pass on this one. it appears to be relumed. while there is nothing wrong with that, you might consider searching for an all original example even if you have to pay more for it. it will be worth it in the end.

MTFBWY in your search!

29bids and sold
Here's the listing No. 223613205053, just search it on eBay and it should show up.

very strange!
the seller stated that he got given the watch as a present 5 years ago.
others texts are very similar word for word, but the location was in western Australia, then when I ask him he changed it to eastern part of Australia!

then the ad was removed when I agreed to pay.

I think it shouldn't matter at this point. Things don't seem to add up and I know it sucks that this got you all excited for nothing. But it could've been worse and you could've been scammed or having to deal with returns/refund. Besides, as stated earlier and also through the sellers description, its been relumed. Not worth it IMHO. Keep searching, it'll turn up. Gluck.

"Assuming" it is the same seller (which I doubt it is), why would he advertise on Ebay and then on Gumtree. If he is in the UK, I doubt he would have even heard of Gumtree.

My bet would be, the guy who joined Gumtree has used the pics from Ebay and is trying to scam a few quick dollars from unsuspecting buyers.

Play safe and walk away.

as I was very suspicious.
yes, good thing it did not go through.
the hassle of going through the PayPal dispute claim and out of pocket for a moth or so.

in saying that the ad on gumtree say nothing about resuming at all.
