Default Just Landed - 1971 6139-6032 Coke

I have been looking for one of these Cokes in decent shape as a project to add to my collection for some time. Purchased this one a few weeks ago off ebay and received it the other day. Great crystal, dial, hands, inner and outer bezel. Unfortunately, someone got to the case and polished it but not so much so as to destroy all the lines. I am going to try and sharpen it up a bit. As an added bonus, this one came on a Seiko Stelux Presidential bracelet. I have not seen many of these in the wild. Very cool bracelet. What you see in the pics is after I have cleaned and refinished the bracelet. I have not started yet on the casework or movement service. As you can see from the numbers, the movement is in need of service. Chrono works well and hands reset to zero as they should. Look for my project restoration over in the Watchmakers and Tinkerers section.

Looks like a nice acquisition!

The Stelux bracelet is not the president bracelet that came on some of the 6139-60XX watches but rather a bracelet from the 6139-70XX series.

OOOhlala so nice. The Coke Pogue is a great watch. That is a great dial and very well preserved tachy ring. You did well.

The president is very comfortable.

NICE pick up and good luck servicing the movement

Wow, that Coke looks terrific. The outer bezel looks like it is very clean and that interior bezel doesn’t appear to have any paint flaking. On my phone I can’t tell that it has been polished. The case lines are sharp. I will certainly follow your restoration work.

Oh, and here is a picture that you will like - just be be random.

Very Nice Coke. heavily Polished cases is one of may Nightmares I really could use some help in trying to understand the Difference between a Stelux President and jubilee Im serching since I bought a 6139-6000 two weeks ago that came with a Stelux Jubilee My First.. Just sent her to watchmaker for Servicing. I fell in Love with the Bracelet Loved the Weight and feel Now I'm Confused I would say its Driving me Crazy but that's a SHORT DRIVE I have had no luck so far in finding any. I will get in touch with Larry Uncle Seiko and ask about his, I have unopened Oysters and ladders from Larry but recently but was unaware of the Feel of a Jubilee. I have more confidence in Buying a 6139-600x then a Bracelet??? TIA for any assistance Thanks Russell

That's a beaut! If I could have only one 6139 in my collection, this model would be it. Lovely colours.

Awesome. I am not as up on my Vettes as I used to be but taking a guess I would say that is either a 70 or 71 C3. Nice Shark and thanks for looking in on my Coke Pogue.

Thanks, but unfortunately isn’t mine. It’s my buddy’s. He and I in our youth used to road race Camaros, 914s, Datsun 510s, etc. I believe this is a ‘73.
