Pictures never really do this watch justice. The way the light plays off the sunburst silver/white dial and fluted bezel, really makes it pop on one's wrist.This one is from 1986, I believe.

Not quite Japanese, I assume its Korean, but no markings to prove otherwise.
Back to the gym after a 3 month break so thought I should wear a smart watch to join in with the crowd.

how I looked at those when they were in the shops, bit big on my skinny wrist, and big watches were not really vogue then. Just about every watch I've ever bought Mrs Q says "That looks like Big Ben on your wrist"

Very nice John, I do like those old Smiths watches, and some of them command big price tags, I've been toying with something like that, but can't decide whether to go for a vintage or an updated new one (Timefactors), or something like a Presage, too many choices not enough money.
