Default A Mid-2000 Seiko 200m Diver I had never seen before!?!?! :-O

How can this happen!?

Yes, we all know Seiko makes a wide variety of watches.

But these 200m rated Titanium SCUBA Divers are from (I believe) the mid 2000s, right in my frantic heyday of exploring the wonderful world of purchasing Seiko Divers online. (Even if they're from the mid-1990s it's still in my Seiko collecting wheelhouse!!)

Non-integrated bracelets, big rugged looking timer bezels with a lumed pip at 12, solar powered, distinctive lumed hands and dials, interesting bracelet design...

HOW DID I NEVER SEE THESE BEFORE? They are the mid 2000s 5K25 solar-powered titanium divers. It seems there is a "black" and a "white" although the three "black" photos below are from the same auction, so you can see the dial's appearance changes with the light!

I have not found their "sales model" yet, like SKS015 and 019, but I just saw these for the first time in my life this morning, so give me a chance!!

I am still wacked-out that I have never seen these before. They certainly have unusual hands and dial markers, for Seikos of the period, yet I think both are very effective!

Oh, I almost forgot, here's the one I got this morning for US$45, supposedly "B" condition.

I just had to get one in my hands. I'll keep posting in the thread as I learn more...

Okay, I had never seen one of those before. But NO ONE may have ever seen one of these before.

???? Here is what the seller described:

"1998 Seiko Frequency SCTK005 Tetsuya Komuro produced digital watch with metronome. Cal. B010-4000, suggested retail price of 18,000 yen.

Equipped with a dynamic speaker drive. By the drum sound playback function, the original sound of the 6 pattern by Tetsuya Komuro are produced.

Selected from sound or LED emission, the metronome 1 & 2 functions.

Time, calendar, chronograph, rhythm, metronome, the alarm function is equipped.

Case height about 50mm side about 37mm thickness of about 15mm

Plastic case, Button is red, Synthetic fiber original belt. Steadily moving at about one year battery replacement."

I had put in a very low "marker" bid just to get the uh, item, into the "Bidding" window instead of my cluttered "Watchlist" , so I could watch it, and the marker bid won!

Okay, that's all I got!

P.S. "Whhaa? Basel whhaa? New releases of whhaa? Hey! I'm busy over here collecting obscure Seikos! Leave me alone!"
