Default Decent Photos of new SLA033 6105-8110 Re-Issue

Seems some better photos were released on Fratellowatches.com of the SLA033.

No commentary other than the early renditions were different.

Dial code text for sure. TigerUK will update us shortly. Til then:

It's georgous. It's too much money. It would never leave the box.

Thanks for the photos. Bezel Insert looks fantastic. Nice Nods to Vintage 6105 Nostalgia with the Horseshoe Caseback and Lock and Arrow Crown. Beautiful!

Beautiful reissue. Hits all the marks. But definitely way too much dough !!! Seiko is really going that “Only few” can afford it route.

Very nice, drilled lug holes, and did I hear, Zarastsu polishing of the bezel?

Yes top of bezel is zaratsu finished (rarely seen outside of Grand Seiko line)

Zarastsu polishing of the top of the bezel with a distortion free mirror finish. Beautiful Bezel Insert. I am quessing that the the entire Bezel Assembly is Stunning when seen in person.

These photos are much more flattering, the ones Seiko released were horrible. It is a sweet looking watch, minus the divers 200 text, not crazy about it. It looks like 2 lines would have been better, or drop the 's and just Diver 200m.

That's $10,625,000 for 2,500 of them.

thank you.

Pass. I'd rather pay 1/4 of that for the original from one of the SCWF members.

I hear ya, but I've gotten into a bag habit of trying collect both the original and reissue. Of the previous reissues, I'd have to say, the SLA025 is the one I like the least, it is big, bulky, it just lacks something, not sure what it is, compared to the original; price aside, this is definitely better.

I like your collecting strategy. Can't decide which one you like better so buy both an Original and a Reissue. Why choose one over the other

Well if they had made the dial like the original along with the hand and even the bezel insert...it would have been perfect....crazy price though...
love the drilled thru lugs and the caseback...God Bless,John....makes me love my original even more now
thank u my friend...for the great better pics too...they really do make the difference

hrrrmmmm, i know a lot of you guys don't like it, but as much as i love the vintage watches (and i like them ALOT), i like this new rendition. sure, it's not "just like" the 6105 it's meant to look like, but it's something that will last long after i'm 6' under and it has a good movement in it too boot.

it's a mixture of the old and the new. yes, i wish it was cheaper and available to the masses like the SRPs. still, i'm not going to hold any ill wishes against those who get one. in fact, i hope i run into one of them so that i can try it on....

Good pics Jon. Does look nice indeed. A little blingy maybe...and other issues aside, it is a smart looking watch.

Very nice indeed.

Is that laser work on the case back like the SLA017

To answer my own Q...yes.

Looks much better in these photos, and personally I think they should've increased the water resistance to atleast 300M. It's not like the 200M is true to the original anyway.

Jon, I am pretty sure you put a deposit on it already. Hoping to see it in person down the shore at some point.

Much better than the images from Seiko. Much more impressed but still not in love. Good thing it's too much $$$ for me to worry about whether or not to buy one.

What's under the hood. It sounds expensive for a automatic. It should be solar drive.

It’s the 8L35 movement which is one of the reasons for the high price.

These are by far the best pics seen so far and it’s growing on me but the price is the deal killer. If it was around the same as the MM300 then that would be the right ballpark in my opinion.

They’ll still sell out quickly though.

I'm sorry but I have a totally different opinion on this new production, for me Seiko failed with this 6105 reissue, starting with the price and then moving on to useless aesthetic embellishments that have nothing to do with the Seiko philosophy (which unfortunately no longer exists). The divers are born to be robust watches with very specific characteristics not like jewels to take for a gala evening.
Honestly i prefer some very good homage that i can use the clock without problems or use my vintage 6105........in my opinion, all the recent Seiko production over € 800 is shifting to philosophies that are no longer Japanese.
Sorry for my bad english.
Max.
