Default Ooo now this I love ( KS Content)

Not been posting much lately, due to pending retirement, (3 weeks time). Time to rationalise my collection, most have now gone, save a few favourites, 19 in total. I decided I needed something a bit special to mark that occasion.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think that I would ever actually own one of these, only the opportunity arose to aquire one of my all time grail watches.

So I snapped it up, I picked it up from my delivery office on Tuesday, I set the time and hand wound it all week and it keeps time not missing a second. I have spoken to SirAlan, who has kindly offered to service it for me. A few pics attached.

Today will be the first day on my wrist

Yaa, that’s really nice!
Can’t read the ref, is it a hand wind?
Did you acquire from uk or elsewhere?
I’ve got my eye on an unusual cushion type case one!
You’ll be bored in retirement, and end up with more watches! :-)

Thank you it's an auto and manual wind 5625 7110 from 1971, just out of my birth year, i wish . I aquired it in U.K.
Haha maybe bored, then again maybe not, we shall see

Congrats! That's a beautiful watch. I have a 5626-7000, which I love. Mine is in great condition, but yours is pristine. The medallion is perfect and it even comes with the original KS buckle. Great find and thanks for sharing.

Thanks love the classic lines. it does have a few marks on the case, which adds to the charm of a 40 + year old watch IMO.

Congrats, I've got the very same model with the KS steel bracelet. Wish I had the KS-buckle for the strap too, but the prices for the buckle alone are insane.
My most accurate watch.
You'll be happy with it

Thank you Michael on both counts, The stars are aligning for me atm, I plan to spend the Summer going about and then finding a lil 2 day a week job for the winter, as one does need a purpose in life IMO.

Nice one! Especially with the buckle. Elevates the whole watch to another level. The medallions are just awesome on these beauties. Enjoy and wear it in good health.
