A special shout-out to Tom (SeikoPsycho2) who sorted a couple issues on my chronograph. Runs beautifully now - thanks Tom!
I saved 1 of my 3 'likes' because I knew I would need 1 for your Friday WRUW.

a nice one for sale on e-bay for $225 no best offer, that maybe seems
high...anyway, thanks!

april '89 was a great month, i remember it well

Hey Peter, I initially thought the same, the v348 movement is pretty much a 7N43 so most mod parts would fit easily. The hands and bezel insert seem to be straight out of the Seiko parts bin. However this is too nice to mod, and in almost mint condition, still has the blue sticker on the caseback!

Mine came as part of an eBay watch lot for a BIN of $25 Australian, with a two button 0634 digi and a couple of others...so I look at $225 as a bit high (although easily worth that in terms of quality!)

I also remember April ‘89 very well...preparing for my A-levels.

Default Coral today/this evening

Coral Monster. Landed on Wednesday along with the "Frost Monster". The coral is winning the wrist time.

in the bronx, where i was born, this watch is advertised a "rare"

i love the sacrilege of modding a beautiful watch, if i truly believe it's
gonna be improved. this case could be amazing....

Yeah, just a bit. Thank you!

Its the only two similar chronographs I have. Although not identical by case back number, they are essentially the same watch. Collecting multiples of the same can be dangerous as we all know, but I allow myself these two.

thanks - appreciate that. I have a few similars on my square face "funky" watches that are pretty neat.

[QUOTE=zeke441;2743831]7546-604A February 1978

I just had my glassblower friend refinish the glass in one of these puppies for a Seiko collector friend (and I fitted a new battery).

Nice model - tool-ish and dressy at the same time
