i just gave #1 son his first "real" watch, the h558 that guy just worked on. I will give #2 son his arnie when he graduates in 4 years. dad gets to keep the NOS one and the gold, but this could be a good beater to use when doing home remodeling or working on the car.

Might as well throw a teal with gold bits in there, too.
But please, please, please, PVD the lugs, too.

Yep, I’m gonna need one. I’ve already set up search alerts on eBay and watch recon. Have always admired the original but never been able to justify the price. I quite like the PADI. I’m sure there will be several other color ways, especially as popular as this thing already seems to be, as well as the fact that they’ll need to get the most out of this newly designed caliber. Will be interested to see if they stick it into any other new/different designs like maybe a field watch or something without a rotating bezel.

I take back everything I’ve ever said about this watch, it’s really growing on me. The big crown/pushers look very cool, the sloped bezel and grainy texture, everything is really working regardless of the small hands. It will be on the list for sure.

I like everything about the Arnie Re-issue. I think the Larger oversized Pushers look great with the Crown. Insert and Hands look good. Normally I don't like the X on the Dial but it seems to work on this Dial. The Arnie has always been a watch with lots of activity going on and the X just adds the overall "busy" look of the watch. I also like the price.

Damn it. I'll get one second hand. This one might take over from the Orca (which is my beach watch. Spends the off season on the window sill.)

I'm strangely attracted to the Pepsi version, and the red second hand.

I’m definitely in. Couldn’t afford one back in the day, things are different now.

It’ll have modern lume so it should glow all night. I wonder if it will have a light?

I wonder why there is a chasm in pricing between this re-issue and the new 6105? Neither is handmade and both use already available movements so what's the story?
