the site says they cost $799 australian, at this moment that translates to
$567 usd. that's not too terrible, and this is just a ballpark figure. also says
available in september...

RRP in Australia is usually higher than straight currency conversion would suggest. We call it the Australia tax. You might get it for less than $567US.

I now will picking up for sure now. I am wondering about the thickness. One thing I love about the original is how thin it is, wears great.

Two different watches, in ways. But mainly, the 6105 is at a very high tier of desirable iconic watches including all others brands not just within Seiko.

Iím sure there will be several other color ways, especially as popular as this thing already seems to be, as well as the fact that theyíll need to get the most out of this newly designed caliber. Will be interested to see if they stick it into any other new/different designs like maybe a field watch or something without a rotating bezel.

Keep me informed of what you find out. Tia!

forms a Triangle/Pyramid. The 12 hour marker is also formed in a Upside Down Triangle/Reverse Pyramid. Nice balance and symmetry. I love it!

I'm definitely up for the all black version and if the PADI is bi-lumed like the Samurai version then I can see both in my watch box.

Back in the day I always wanted to know what Arnie wore in those classic films it wasn't till the invention of the internet I found out.

With Seiko re-issuing of recent I had a feeling they might visit the Arnie H558 as if I was psychic here it is.....

The 'Arnie' always had it's fans and its critics. These new 'Arnie' reissue's are getting the same mixed reviews. With the popularity of the watch and the cult like following over the years I am kind of surprised Seiko has not capitalized on that and reissued more variants of the 'Arnie'. Here are some fantasy 'Arnie' reissues that could have made the reissue complete.

'Solar Golden Arnie'

'Solar Orange Arnie'

According to Seiko's official global release SNJ028P1 does not exist .
There are only two 'Arnie' reissues, SNJ025P1 (Black) // SNJ027P1 (Pepsi PADI).

I think they hit a homerun, surely they’ll be milking it with other variants to come.
The snj025 black one does it for me. The hands on the reissue aren’t as small, they look chunkier.

Or perhaps too busy reimagining instead of imagining...

Will do, Ray! Not seen anything yet.

And I think you’re absolutely right that there will be additional color ways coming.

The first videos begin to appear.
They are wonderful in my opinion.

Look at a new flat strap!

The SNJ028 shown here has been leaked (the model number was leaked before Baselworld, but this photo leaked at Baselworld) - SEIKO didn’t officially announce this colour variant at Baselworld, because it’ll be launched later than the 2 officially-announced models, I’m guessing Q3-Q4 this year, but it was shown to people under a non-disclosure agreement…

Wow, you know how I love flat vents, it’s all I use on all my 22mm divers. So cool!
This is the coolest thing Seiko has done in a very long time.
Thanks Marcelo for posting

Super cool, thanks for sharing. I love the music on these videos, too. Reminds me of a 1980ís action movie, which of course is perfect since weíre talking Arnies.

Those are all feasible and would sell
you can add dark blue, green, grey and of course white, as already stated its new module/movement so of course more to come.

Then they will rotate the module round to the 6pm position making it a H601 version.
