Default Need your guidance wit this UFO 6138-0020

I have come across this UFO but never seen a 0020 model ( besides 2 on the net). It;s working well and getting it for a good price.
I don't mind if the hands are aftermarket.
The 6138 0020 is usually a Tokei Zara model.
Is this a legit UFO?
Thanks in advance

Chapter ring should be black.
Case should be brushed.
Second hand looks like its touching the chapter ring.
Crown looks knackered.
Maybe more but if the price is right.....

Did they come with pink second hands? Or is it faded?

Like stated above, looks a bit cobbled together.

6138-0010, 0011,0017,0020, 0040 this is as far as I can tell exist.
If any quick changes I would think the Long sec hand and crown would be priority.
All was said above. Good Luck in finding OEM parts.

That's over priced if you ask me. Not worth it.

$350 it's all relevant to how much you want it on your arm. Always cheaper would be nice, trying a little haggling.

I bought a blue/black Bullhead in reasonable condition, I think, for $390. It has it's issues, but I really wanted one. I think if I waited for the perfect one, I would have missed out.

$350 would leave some room in my budget to turn it into whatever I wanted, if I didn't like what it was currently. Something like this will never leave the purists happy, which I also appreciate, but as long as it's never advertised to be anything but what it is, that's ok. I've always liked that case design, so I would make compromises.

What bothers me the most is the way overpolished case.

Thanks for all the immense knowledge and help, I've brought him down to 240
After mentioning all of the above. The watch works fine. So do the chrono functions, day & date. I'll get it serviced.

$240 leaves a lot of meat on the bone for service, parts and case refinishing. I'd say well done!

to source but in time hopefully you will find all you need.

This review here inspired me to purchase one last year:
https://www.thewatchsite.com/15-vint...dad-watch.html
Special thanks to Seiko Hoarder.

I'm jealous of your un-faded yellow highlights on the subs! That dial has spent most of its life in a drawer. For $240 with that dial, you're in very good shape! The Japanese crime drama mentioned in the review "Ishi no Mayu" was available on the web w English sub titles last year & well worth a watch. The watch is predominately featured.
