Default My Orient J39701 arrived today

I went to the post office today to pic up my Orient j39701. This and a Seiko 7A38=7280- a6. These watches of course use the legendary holy grail of Seiko quartz movement the 7A28/38/48
There is a fair amount of chatter here and on the dedicated 7A38 site about dealers on ebay in general and Philippine dealers in specific. I now have photos I took of the watch in question for which I paid $73.00 US plus postage. Was this a great bargain probably not. Did I get ripped off a loud no. Upon opening this watch I can tell you it looks very much like the photos on ebay minus the green over cast. As a matter of fact I think it looks a bit better than his photos made it look. So all in all from what I am seeing the 73 bucks seemed ok. Maybe with a lot of work I could have found a better one cheaper but who knows. In any event here are the pics. The watch works as it should all functions work and most important the sweep second hand and the little tiny dials all swish back to a perfect zero. Life is sweet hehehhe.
About a week or so earlier I received my Seiko 7a38-7280 a3. It also was accurately described and there were no bad surprises on my receiving it. I was asked if the clasp on the band had a short or long tab and this on has a short tab so I believe it to be original but I am no expert.
OMG I missed a bit of cleaning stuff on the back. Hey my eyes are old. Anyway hope you enjoy the pics.
Btw I have mentioned this in another post but Oddly it is not really my desire to collect mint vintage watches, very nice but not mint, use marks tell the story of some one who loved the watch or treated it carelessly and to me is an important part of the history.
Thanks John

it never ceases to amaze me how when a watch is enlarged about two hundred times or maybe its more like forty times you can see ever single little flaw
btw the scratches on the back are not nearly as visible to the naked eye. The flash at forty five degrees pics them up without mercy.

I like the look of the Orient John, does it "feel" as good quality as the 7As ?

Nice! I've recently become attracted to the 7a28's, especially the 7039 and 7049. So now I'm on the hunt. >
