Meet the New Boss !

Unfortunately my real Boss, the elf, has put it away for a couple of weeks, but I had to make sure it was not damaged

Cheers guys, it can't/won't receive time signal when set to UTC as home time zone, which I guess if you are professional pilot/Ships Capt/Navigator/ATC etc then you may wish to do this.
To show date you need to choose cal position on lower dial which is a bit of a faff, pull crown out, rotate crown, replace crown. I'm sure they could have trained buttons to perform this and give easy choice to display time or date in digital area.
Backlight for the digital only, pic borrowed from internet.

Not too much activity on this “Citizen in the mail” thread - but I have this guy incoming - owned one in the past, sold it, missed it, glad I found this beauty for cheap:

Waiting patiently for my "final" piece from the other side of the World. A rare transitional vintage Citizen Custom Rally...keep following in my related post.

I just want the dial for a long running project watch, you know the sort that sits in the box for ever until the fateful day some rare part or other appears? Been looking for a long time so I hope this one is ok!

I hope it pans out Mike. If it were mine I'd be tempted to wear it case side out it's so cool.

Sure thing David.

I was strictly Seiko only until The Neilo corrupted me. Now I enjoy Citizen and their way of doing things.
