Based on my observations:

7548-7000 Black dial and black bezel - SQ and non-SQ versions
7548-7009 Black dial and black bezel - SQ dial
7548-700A Orange dial and black bezel - SQ dial
7548-700B Dark blue dial and pepsi bezel
7548-700C Orange or (very rare!) Green dial with black lume border and black/gold bezel/hands
7548-700F Dark blue dial and pepsi bezel - SQ dial
7548-700H Orange SQ dial with silver lume border and black bezel - maybe also non-SQ dial

At the end of their production run there were also two 200m versions available with screw down crystal retaining ring just like the 7c43-7xxx 200m quartz divers:

7548-7010 Black dial and black bezel
7548-701A Orange Dial and black/gold bezel

I have a 7548-700F that has been transplanted into a 704X case. It has NO dial number. AFAIK, it has the press type crystal ring as that case was used for a replacement for a thoroughly scarred 6309-7290 case.

Edit: It appears that my statement, while true, does not apply to the dial in the 7548-700F in general. My dial is a franken in one way or another.

Hope this helps.

It is, but???? I can see no evidence that the dial had numbers removed. If anyone can show a -700F dial with a dial number, I'll cheerfully redact my comments.

Edit: Here's a cropped version of the photo above. The smudge between 7 and 8 is on the crystal, not the dial.

Edit: As I said, I'm redacting my statements about the lack of dial numbers on my 7548-700F. Numbers for the dial have been posted below.

Don't know much about these watches but I got one about 6 months ago, the 7548–700B, when looking for a beater alternative to my beloved skx009.
Well, long story short, I love the looks of this watch specially the bezel and the insert. It never goes near any work environments where it might get beat up.
Got this one from a fellow forum member who stated that the hands are not original to itself (the watch). Would like to hear from you that know what you think about the hands; are they seiko replacement hands or aftermarket?

Here's another picture with a little more light

Ps: must add that it's super accurate, spot on to the second after several months!!

Yes, John, it's a dark blue. Darker than the blue of bezel.

Regarding a 7548-700F, the crystal ring is press fit, silver/lume hands.

Thanks very useful.
All crystal ring, except 200m version, is press. 700B and 700H bezel insert is pepsi; 700A bezel is black/white and hands silver/lume. 700F hands are silver/lume. 7010 and 701A are both for JDM market.

It appears that my dial either had numbers removed or is AM. I apologize for any confusion I may have caused.
