How come some vintage watches (mostly divers?) get a greenish-hue to the lume as opposed to the 'cream' colour that we see on Rolexes and such

I have not owned a Citizen diver, and was not looking for one - however my interest was tickled by the skin diver that VintageCitizencollector posted. That's a very nice dial with gold markers. It leans towards a pie pan design - like the Omega.

Would there be newer versions of this skin diver?

That would be VERY RARE indeed, and the price would be commensurate. Maybe in the future Citizen would release a Campagnola or Bulova with a similar style... :-)

Thanks.

Well... it is not my watch that is the first and the last, but, this model (the silver dial version Skin Diver). )) By the way, I have the black dial version too.

That's so cool! Even if it is not the silver dial, it's still a nice Vintage that you don't see anymore.

As this has just got a bump here is a Dandy Seven diver that has just arrived to me.

You do not see too many of these come up for sale so I grabbed this one when it did.

There is some damage to the inner bezel between 8-10 with the numbering missing, some bezel insert damage and a little degradation of the lume but otherwise it seems to be in OK condition.

Here is a caseback shot.

Just need to get a bracelet for this one now.
