Default Is anyone modding Mini Turtles?

i'm trying to find parts for the new mini turtle, seems
like it takes a normal 28.5mm dial, so far so good, but
does anyone know which chapter ring and bezel insert
would fit this watch?

well, i don't know for sure if this is true,
but it seems the bezel insert for a citizen
ny0040 is also 36mm x 30mm, so i bought
one of those, as seiko is not selling bezels
or inserts for this watch yet, and no one has
modded parts yet.....

well, the nyoo40 bezel insert is 36mm x 30mm, like
the mini turtle's, but it isa little thicker than the
original seiko bezel insert, so it's a little proud of the
bezel on the outside, about .33mm but you can see it,
and duarte installed a new domed crystal, and it sticks
up about 1mm on the inside, too. so i'd say this bezel
insert is ok, but i'd rather have the genuine seiko part,
or any other aftermarket bezel insert that gets made
for the mini turtle in the future....it would fit better in
the standard mini-turtle bezel....

i wish harold would start making parts for this watch
or dagaz, i did use the dagaz dial for 4R35, and it looks
great, albeit with really shitty lume. charge it up as
bright as you can, and it'll be dead dark 3 hours later,
i guess that lume is printed on there. another job
for everest
