Default Crystal For Early Quartz Diver

My first quartz Diver (8123-6100) with a badly scratched crystal. I can find no information anywhere about this particular model.

It seems identical to the 8123-6109.

Was this 8123-6100 made for the Japanese domestic market?

What crystal does it take?

Will a generic generic fit?

A sapphire (if possible) would be great.

Any information about this watch would be welcome.

280W22GN00

Some 28mm slightly beveled crystal should \ could work I imagine? Maybe a sternkreuz would do. How much clearance is between the crystal and insert?
