Default Military fixed bars have been cut

So,
I've got a Seiko Gen 2 and the fixed bars have unfortunately been cut, does anyone know how they can be sorted?

How about some photos?
Inquire with John, @TheTigerUK he may be able to help.

You'll need to have the remains of the original bars removed. Then probably drill new through holes, install new stainless rod of the correct diameter, laser or micro-tig weld to the case, refinish outer case surface.

I once did this to a 7s26-0020 case and it turned out well. I'll try to find some photos.

Steve

So one side has been drilled for standard springbars? Is your goal here to return it to fixed bars configuration?
I don't know much about these models. I wonder why someone cut the bars in the first place. Seems it would be easier to cut whatever strap was being removed.

Its an ex military watch and some bright spark decided to cut the fixed bars and file off all the serial numbers from the case back.
The watch is either ex RAF or RN.
I would like to get it back to standard with fixed bars and wear it on a nato strap.

That's a shame. Some people shouldn't have access to tools.

I think it's repairable though.
