Talking My Citizen Eco-Drive BN0101-58E

Hi
I bought his direct from Japan and it has come to be my favourite stainless steel diver and believe me I've had quite a few!

I saw the impressive photographs of 'Wiskers' review of this model here on the forum which was a final decider for me to place this order.

It was a bit more expensive than the version from Singapore as it is made in Japan. The supplier in Tokyo shipped to me in Australia free and the package was extremely secure. Included with the watch was a spring bar tool and rubber strap and sturdy pair of lug pins . The lug width is 23mm so the rubber strap is specially for this watch.

I am delighted with this model because it is comfortable, easy to read and has an excellent blue lume which lasts most of the night. Above all I regard the eco-drive movement as superb and accurate. The second hand is spot on around the markers and the bracelet has an expansion ratchet as well.

Thank you for sharing an excellent review- your photos are superb and do a good job of highlighting several features of this watch. Would you happen to have any photos of the diver's extension extended? I'm not familiar with how that particular one operates. Thanks again!

Default rileynp, if this would help .....

Hi rileynp,

Hope this will help a little I read the posting.

The one that has the slip extention (One the left come on Divers and those Promasters also.
The bracelet slips out to extend the bracelet, and works well, I have them
and they are very comfortable to use, it has a separate button for it, close to the bracelet link side.
The flat bar has a ratchet like movement to it and adjusts to as want is chosen.

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but is the Japan model the only one that comes with both the bracelet and the rubber strap? With the odd lugs I'd want both since finding a rubber strap to fit would be bothersome.

I'm trying to be a basic one watch guy lately and I just dropped down to an SKX007 and even though it's superbly accurate, the design of the bracelet of this Citizen, the fitted rubber, and my preference for quartz has me considering picking this one up.
