Hello,

with this review I like to intruduce my favorite automatic chronograph:
Citizen Bullhead 901026Y
Movement: 8110 23 jewels
Date of building: October 1977
Case: gold coloured
Dial: gold coloured
stainless steel back
day/date : german/englisch
Bracelett: Original, steel, gold coloured
changed into racing style black/orange leather strap

Technical data movement:
Citizen 8100
12''', Dm= 27.0mm
23 jewels
f = 28800 A/h
power reserve: 40h I can confirm!
Funktions:
Automatic-Chronograph, 60s, 30min
Flyback-Funktion: reset and newstart

The case is used, also the glass, but it is a wrist watch to use.

Here the pics:

Thank you for your interest.

Thank you for sharing your Bullhead. I like these also but only have the one that is not to original specification.

There is a lot to like, it's modest size suits me and it does feel good to wear

@pollyc
Thanks for possitive reply.
Yes, the size is absolut right for my small wrist.
That's why I prefert the vintage chronographs
and wrist watches from Citizen.

Good to see an original example of this model - I've seen many that have had the gold plating removed.

Thanks Stephen.
Nice words from the goodsfather of citizen ;D
I know that is very difficult to repair/restorate the "gold"-housing.
But it is an old watch and it has charme when the clock looked used.
Have a nice weekend.

I like it. Also, if you find it small, you can find this movement in different cases (even larger).

I have been told the Octogon shape case is more rare than the regular shaped case, why is that?
