Default Divers opinions.

I wondered what the cognoscenti think of this. I didn't like divers but after a year here I've had my mind properly changed. Reading experts talk about things they love will do that.
I've been wearing my 60 and 70s dress watches (mmmmm) but I need something more robust and less affected by magnetism and scraps with my boys.
Saw this, kind of liked it and now it's on its way from Japan. Will be seventy $ with the postage.
I fear it may be wrong, even offensive, in so many ways and I would like to know what the big boys think. Not interested in monetary value, just aesthetics and engineering really. Thanks.

that looks very robust indeed. the lobes on the bezel look like they're very easy to grip, too. could have done with a darker color on the chapter ring though, for contrast. the lumes should have also used a different color coz they blend right into the polar white dial... just my opinion and thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the feedback. I agree the white on white is odd. Still, I'm hoping it will look good with the old white linen suit.
It's funny, we say to newbies "Ha, kiss your wallet goodbye!" and it is so true. You come in because you like something, then you learn to like things you didn't.
I'm a tad apprehensive because I didn't want a diver or a chronograph. Now I really, really would like a 007 and the spinning dials of the 6139 grow more alluring by the day. It's a damnable sickness.

Looks good Simon!
Would like to see comparison pictures with any of the dress watches you have, either side by side or wrist shots.

Ps: can't go wrong the 007, on bracelet is very dressy. The 009 is a must have on any collection, imo, and looks so handsome on a jubilee.

Looks great, I will assume it's a mid-size?

The case is 38mm and I have no idea as to the model, other than what is shown on the back. Ill post a wrist shot when it arrives. Feedback much appreciated.
