Default Arrived: 7017-6020!

It came in today from Adrian. I’m so excited. I took a short video showing the fly back function but will post that on Horology 101 FB group. The strap is a Dassari from Etsy.

that's what we're talking about - the -6020 is such a gorgeous watch - it's on my list to acquire. Very very nice - no better feeling than when it comes back running tip top. Congrats and thanks for posting ..... sweetness.

Always thought I disliked small dial to case ratio watches but this one seems to have changed my mind.
Very nice looking model! Nice strap too

Gogreous. Rarely do I prefer a vintage Seiko chrono on leather but that Dassari really sets it off perfectly !

Congrats. My 7017-6010 little brother says 'hi':

The strap is perfectly match. In my humble opinion, it would be much better if the belt is in black color.

Really top shelf. The nicest example of a 6020 I have ever seen.
looking at OEM examples is important imho mostly to see what was intended many years ago.
Thank you and Adrian for keeping her in Spectacular OEM Condition.

Thank you very much. I was fortunate to have found it from an estate dealer here in the US on the Bay. One of the jewels was so fouled with oil that had turned to shellack that he thought he would need to replace the jewel. But he was able to clean it.

The unfortunate part is that the flyback function became just a bit flaky so it’s back with Adrian for a tweak. These 7017s are hard to get right, but once you do they are rock solid.

Thank you again!

Oh, and I seem to be decent at finding these “sock drawer” Speedtimer examples (I look for lots of “crud” in the seams. But it’s only because I have digested about every VTA and Spencer Klein video they have produced. These are the next two that I will be sending in the que - a blue 6139 resist-notch-resist and a Proof 6139-6030 that I probably spent too much on but it just seems about perfect. Not clear yet if the hands have been resprayed.
