Default Stargate Black PVD

I was on the fence for a while with this one. I loved the look in the pics, but was worried about scratches. After a couple of weeks I finally gave in.

I looks far better in person. I think the combination of polished and satin finish on case and bracelet gives it a sporty/elegant appearance. The yellow bezel indexes and yellow second/minute hands make it pop subtly.

The bracelet has solid end links with typical Seiko pin+collar. I took a link out of both sides and I can just fit the end of my pinky between clasp and wrist, {perfect}.

The size, shape, and weight sit perfect on my wrist.

Typical Seiko lume greatness, slightly brighter than my 2 solar divers and the Orient.

I like the day/date magnifier. I don't have to look through the bi-focals just right to read.

That about sums it up for me. I really am enjoying this watch and I think my next will be the plain finish silver bezel version.

The 4r36 keeps very good time. It is averages about -5 sec daily. When I am not at work I lay it flat, otherwise I am wearing it,{yes, I sleep with a watch on}.
I cant argue with that for a $260.00 watch. A Rolex wouldn't keep much better time.
