I came across this Japanese print ad for a model that I'd never seen before.

Superficially appears to be 6119-6053.

The case, bracelet and outer bezel are identical. However the dial is black and the inner inner bezel (or dial ring) both seem different.

Is it a rare sports diver for the Japanese domestic market? Or is it just a fuzzy picture of a 6119-6053?

Any ideas?

Not sure. But the colors on the adds are not always the same as in real life. My guess would be that it is just the same watch

Old print ad + scan = poor color reproduction

I don't usually see the brand written as "SEIKO FIVE" instead of "SEIKO 5"
