Default Rare Seikos Bought

This month has been very good being able to acquire several watches from a Rolex 1655 Explorer ll to a Breitling AOPA 806 to name a few.

This week i got these highly collectible Seikos as follows:

1. A very rare, clean and unmolested Seiko 6246 9000. Initially this Grand Seiko model was originally called the
Seikomatic Chronometer and houses the first automatic movement, caliber 6200 introduced in 1966. It has 39 jewels and oscillates at 19800 bph. All Grand Seikos were hand polished.

2. Next is a King Seiko 4402 8000 model also in very good condition. This Seiko was manufactured in the Daini factory during the late 60s at a time when Seiko was winning the chronometer competition in Switzerland. The watch is powered by the caliber 4402a hand wound movement, hacking, 25 jewels and oscillates at 18000 bph.

3. Last is another King Seiko 5626 5060 also in very good condition. These models came out in 1969 together with the first quartz watches made by Seiko. The square cased King Seiko that i got is quite scarce because most produced that year had traditional "Grand Seiko style" cases. The 25 jewel 5600 automatic movement is hi-beat oscillating at 28000 bph.

Very nice watches, congrats I think the KS 4402 should have a different medallion, this one is found on later 45KS. Also, the medallion seems not to be perfectly centered with the serial number.
