Seiko SHC041 & SHC043
Got myself a couple of these used 7n36 divers SHC041(bracelet) and SHC043(rubber).
200m water resistance, 42mm (without crown) stainless steel case, 12mm case thickness, 22mm lug width with Seiko's Sapphlex (sapphire coated Hardlex) crystal. Wonder why Seiko stopped producing Sapphlex crystals?
Runs for up to 4 years before needing a new battery. No worries about movement as they are easily available for a low price.
Had them for about a month and are performing well within specs. The lume of the SHC041 is no longer as bright or lasting while the SHC043 is still going strong per Seiko's usual insane luminosity.
IMHO, a best bang for the buck under the radar workhorse quartz diver. Sometimes going for less than a hundred on eBay.
