Ah, my bad - I only counted the images as whole # - according to your first chart. I got to six, saw the AGS Tuna and skipped the Kinetic Tuna second half.

This is great, love this kind of obssessive research! Really gives meaning to your Tuna Hunter alias (love the avatar btw)

Will have to take some time off to read all the details.

Thanks for sharing!

P.s - this reminds me i have to update my own version of the diver lineage with the most current comments. :/

Hey, another question - I heard that Seiko changed the lume formula from the -7010 SBBN007 to the -7011.
My -7011 still glows like a torch. A friend had a -7010 which didn't glow bright or long anymore.

Any info on that?

The -7010 would have used Promethium 147. Seiko stopped using Promethium 147 lume by April 1997. So the -7011 would have had the new lumibrite formula.

Thanks! Strange that my AGS divers from the mid-90s have good lume, while they still used Promethium on the Tuna and 7002 divers.

SBBN007 7C46-7010 was introduced in 1991 and was replaced by SBBN007 7C46-7011 in 1997. In 1993 SEIKO started to use its LumiBrite, on the hands and dial markers on all ‘Tuna’ models. So that would be the reason.

I have a suspicion that during the transition from 7002 to SKX00x, some 7002's may have used Lumibrite - not P147. The changeover happened during1996 to the SKX, and some early SKX's have very dead lume, whereas some late 7002's shine on brightly. I guess the dials were done in batches and there were more made with Lumibrite to complete the remaining available 7002 cases.

Awesome!
But just not what I need to be looking at, lol.
Great work, illustrations speak louder than just words, as impactful as when voice was added to film.
Ps:
Thank you, thank you!

I hope you catch a fish one day Guy, they are delicious !!

I'm not sure of Mario's TUNA inventory?
I know he has the SCUBAPRO TUNA, which is one of the hardest to find.

Lets hope he joins in with an image of all his TUNAS !!

Here is my TUNA box, it's getting full, I'm close to my limit !!

Very Nice Collection!!!
You have kept some of the best (and uncommon) Tuna's out there.
Your DIME MD Edition is very nice and hard to find.
