Wow...a pristine looking example...a rare gem indeed!

Always a personal choice. If I had just one, it would be the 6138-0030 with the blue dial. Of the watches I have, it's the one I seem to wear the most. So it must be my favorite. Second favorite, probably the same watch with the champaign dial. Love the 6138's.

That's a very nice example that has aged beautifully!

Thanks big guy. It's the dial that has weathered the storm fairly well. The hands however were replaced as originals were toast. Had Spencer do the service and Tom did the casework.

Without a doubt, my 6306. The perfect watch, in my mind.

I'm a big fan of late 70's King and Grand Twin Quartz's. They're fantastic watches, that ranged between +/-20 seconds per year for the Kings and +/-10 SPY for the Grands. They're also relatively cheap for what they are. I've seen Kings in great condition go from around 100, and Grands between 150-200. I recently sold an immaculate Grand Twin Quartz for 275, and for the money it was one hell of a watch.

It obviously depends on whether you like the style as they are a little on the petite side by modern standards.

Here's a nice little gallery:

vintage diver - for current value for money the 6309 7040 - or 7049 - easy to wear - cushion case looks great and different straps are easy to find

and if you want to spend more money the SBDX001 or SBDX017 ...... lots around in good condition for reasonable money ..... but IMHO this is becoming a future classic

True riddle ...only one ....??? Really ????

If I had to choose based on looks and without budget restrictions ...6159-7001

Pic...coming soon...hopefully

If I had to choose based on historical value and chameleon look, i.e. you can wear it with a tuxedo, but does look good with flip flops and bathing suit...6217-8001

finally, the one and only vfm and comfy as hell ....6105-8110!!
