Default NFC Sapphire Crystals

It would have to do something really clever to justify nearly 200 dollars a time!

Having read the site I still don't really get what it does exactly.

Sorry but distinctly underwhelmed here.

I think NFC is referring to the Samsung Technology - Near Field Communication.
Samsung has it in Tac Tile format, like a sticker but some circuit enbeddeded. Its can be programed to do a specific task.
Like launch the calaculator, activate then wifi, switch ON the bluetooth ...etc.

Its rather niche to have it on a watch crystal. Trouble is the replacement may as well void the warranty too.

I think it's a quick way to void nearly $200 out of your billfold!

Using your watch to unlock a door is pretty cool. It could be used in electronic transactions, much like a contactless credit card..
