Default First vintage and posting

Hi gentz,

This is my first vintage seiko watches

The year 1981 made model
Silvewave 2628-0040 or 2628-004a

Looks like B&R cockpit watch. but very small size (34mm)

That is a very nice sample you have there. I collect Aqualand Watch's but I would use that.
I like the Guage Design of it.

I am constantly surprised at the variety of watches that Seiko makes. That is a cool looking watch. Another to add to my list.

Some information

Seiko the year 1982 catalog


and Japan good design award 1981


This model is made 1981~1984 year.

PEQ011 is Deep navy dial
PEQ012 is khaki green dial
some pics black dial model.. I don't know that

Search words
SEIKO
SILVERWAVE (シルバーウェーブ)
2628-0040
2628-004A
PEQ011 or PEQ-011
PEQ012 or PEQ-012


Spec.
.Case : 34mm (included crown 37mm)
.Face : Opening dial diameter 27.5mm
.Thickness : 9mm
.Movement : 2J 2628A QUARTZ
.Lug width : 22mm
.Waterproof : MIN. 10bar

Now that my head has stopped spinning, all I can say is WOW! I have about 6 Silver Waves and this is the first I have seen with that case design. It's an amazing effect and has duly been added to my list of watches to look for.
