Seiko SKX009 SCWF mod
« on: April 06, 2010, 01:46:03 PM »
Now that we moved to the new website, i felt it was time to make a new Seiko SCWF mod. I transformed my Seiko SKX009 with a SCWF dial. I spraypanted the dial with clear laquer varnish. I think it looks good! I also mounted a waffle strap from Jake. I'm thinking about modifying it a bit more, don't know what yet...

Maybe this will inspire somebody to make a new SCWF mod to celebrate this new website  ;)  ...

that dial was a forum wide design that was created a few years ago.  Noah Fuller then had them fabricated in china.  contact him, he might still have some for sale.

That's correct, i bought it from Noah! The only issue were the chrome rings, they were all loose and i had to glue them. That's the reason i spraypainted the dial. Result is fabulous!
