'other' watch mods

Hi there.  I am a very new member, mostly lurking and learning.  However, I am more interested in getting a couple of watches modded.  It seems there is a large number of product (dials, hands, bezel and inserts, etc) for the older Seikos.   How about newer (SKX, kinetic, etc) and other brands, such as Citizen.  Is it simply there are more inexpensive bases available for the 6000/7000 series or is it something else?  Any suggests for parts and/or modders would be appreciated.

SKX parts are extremely common. 10watches.com or yobokies (look on his photobucket account then email him) have a wide variety of parts.
