My almost vintage 7T32....maybe RARE?
« on: November 27, 2012, 04:38:00 PM »

In all of my "searches",  just looking, or trying to find another one, I have never seen this combination anywhere. I'm calling it rare.
The decoding is a bit vague: 7N1321 maybe 1987 first year of the 7T32 or possibly 1997, and it doesn't really look like a 2007 style. All info, critiques are VERY WELCOME!

Jesus I love that!

I've seen two others; one on a jewellers website (in Tokyo I think) and one in a shop in LA second hand.
Can't have been a popular model, looks to be a late release towards the end of the 32's life, and the wacky colour scheme wouldn't appeal to everyone.
The Ti models were always a bit more expensive too.

Even so, this is one of the three 32's I desperately want to find!

Not doubting the rarity component at all but it must have been a 'bad acid' day in the Seiko design department regarding colour choices . . .  :57:

Those colours and design were teleported right out of the Four Corners are of the US southwest! Nice pastel blues and oranges with the 'ZIA' around the crystal. Maybe one of the designers was thinking New Mexico when he came up with that one.
It's actually kind of cool looking to me.
Life is way to short to only live with one name.
