Here We are....I and my 6027
« on: November 13, 2012, 01:07:18 PM »
Dear friends, I have done fascinated by the charm of the bell too.
And now I wanted to show you my purchase in the hope that your happy comments.
I have some questions to ask the elders of the forum (or everyone have notice about it) that have been very important in the choice of my puppy (of 40 years old).
On the net I've seen a lot of 6027 with the brezel color light blue (different from mine that is dark blue whith a black dial). Is there perhaps a combination dial  blue / blue bezel and dial black / dark blue brezel
My 6027 has matched a bracelet (very useful) I've always seen the series 6021. It 'possible that there are some 6027 with this bracelet (or has been changed)? Is there some collector who want to make a change?
In the wheel of the day on Saturday is not blue, but is black. It's not original?

Thank you all for everything that I learned and will learn about the mythical bellmatic
PS. forgiveness for the bad English, I'm Italian

Your English is just fine. A quick look at the Photo section of this web-site shows a couple of diffrent watches with your color combination. I can't help you with the Saturday question.
The Bracelets are sometimes marked with a number up near the lug end.

                                    Best regards,
                                             Brand Cedrone
 P.S.
Yes, Cedrone is an Italian name.My Grand parents were born in Italy and moved to the United States.

That certainly looks like the correct band for that watch.
It is the same as one that I have, great looking and comfortable as well.  :)

Thank you Russell,

Do you have some documentations (photos, advertising, etc.) that confirm the bracelet? The photo that I have confirms that the bracelet is to 6021 and not 6027.

PS.you're right it is very comfortable

Unfortunately, the bracelet not belong to my watch :banghead: , I discovered that my ebay seller sold the original bracelet in another auction :'(  ... I think the 6027 was sold only with that bracelet.

Most Seiko watches headed for export (and the Bell-Matic was a model largely exported) had at least two bracelet offerings.
The one with the smaller links is a Stelux bracelet, the one with the large links (as you show in you last pictures) is a Seiko-only branded bracelet and as far as I know also correct for the 4006-602 models.

Best,
Hermann

P. S.: the '6021' or '6027' codes do not tell you anything about the bracelet. This is not a reference number (thus including the bracelet the watch came with) but a case number.
