I actually quite like the look of that one! Just a tad too large for my small wrist.


Can still remember a good friend fron Uni, who was into black, and in the time when the cheap swatches were becoming popular, was in vain looking for an all black one. We were joking about a 'black on black' dial then, and only some 20 years later did these start appearing. Quite a few of my friends are architects, for whom style is sometimes more important than function (they would wear e.g. the single-handed Meistersinger), and they would love this watch as well, in it's simplicity.


Just saying, don't flip it too soon!

Probably my Casio AMW320. I paid peanuts for it ($30 delivered) but I can't read the hands against the gold dial.

yeah..
this is an ugly one..
dial does not complement the case and the bezel..
imho

I don't know if I'd call it ugly, just hard to read. Actually, the same watch has been made for quite a few years by Casio and is one of their more popular models.

But when it arrived I binned it worst 40 bucks I have ever spent

it was an old watch being sold as new. got $20 (of the $76 cost) back from paypal dispute. being new to watch hobby i avoid buying secondhand in case the owner trying to get rid of damaged watch.
