Superb resource! Fascinating to see a no-date, waterproof Seiko at less than 4000Yen, date at about 6000Yen, a one-button chronograph at "only" 8000Yen (although still double the price of a regular Seiko) and then the HUGE leap to the 6218 WeekDater and GS chronometer at 27000Yen! 5-6000Yen would have been an affordable but still significant sum for a regular working man, 8000Yen for a chrono would probably have been considered a little frivolous, 12-13000Yen approaching luxury levels (explain-THAT-purchase-to-your-wife level) and 27000 clearly top-level / senior management level!

Interesting enough the price comparison between the KS and the GS has flipped, try buying a 4420 for %12 less than a 5722!

I was just curious, I know the 5626-7090 Chronometer was about 25% more in Gold Cap than SS

If the picture was inappropriate i will remove it, I i just like treads width pictures better my self.
